Dr. La-Dana Renee Jenkins has been assisting students and professionals with their career development needs for over 25 years and is currently a full-time Doctoral Lecturer at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, where she teaches career planning courses and oversees academic internships for various majors. She has also served as an Experiential Learning Adjunct Professor at LIM College, an Instructor for the Job Search Workshops with BMCC's Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development, a Graduate Career Counseling Adjunct Professor at the former College of New Rochelle where she taught Theories of Career Counseling and Methods and Tools of Assessment and Evaluation, and a Career Development Instructor with the Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC).
In addition, she is the proprietor of Career Calling LLC, a career development firm that provides career counseling and workforce development training for individuals, non-profit organizations and faith-based institutions and has also been featured and listed in various resume writing books including, Gallery of Best Resumes, 3rd edition by David F. Noble, Resumes That Knock em Dead, 6th edition by Martin Yate, Designing the Perfect Resume, 3rd edition by Pat Criscito and the Directory of Professional Resume Writers: How to Find and Work With a Pro to Accelerate Your Job Search by Louise Kursmark.

Dr. Jenkins earned an Ed.D. in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University, an M.A. in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations from SUNY Oswego, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. She believes she is living her calling and is dedicated to helping others achieve the same goal. ​
